Started in 2018, The Deborah Buck Foundation supports institutions who are actively working to reverse the marginalization of women in the Fine Arts. While the foundation is interested in all cultural entities, it seeks those that most effectively support artistic excellence and critical thinking by women. The Deborah Buck Foundation will work to encourage making a difference in the matter of inclusiveness for women within the cultural landscape.
Buck recognizes and appreciates the support of the many forward thinking institutions and individuals who gave her confidence as a woman to challenge the boundaries that she has encountered in her own work and life.
The Deborah Buck Foundation is dedicated to Deborah’s mother, who above all, was a tremendous advocate for the importance of a cultural conscience.
The Deborah Buck Foundation does not accept solicitations for grants. Tax exemption pending.
